Do I need every flatmate to install the app?
Both sides of an IOU need IOweU to interact with it fully — accepting, proposing changes, settling or waiving. Sharing the IOU through any messaging app helps onboard the other person.
Can I track chores as well as money?
Yes. Chores work as task IOUs in IOweU, alongside money, items and favors. That means one app instead of a chore app, an expense splitter and a notes app.
Can chores be reassigned to another roommate?
Yes. Once a chore IOU is accepted, either side can reassign it to someone else without deleting and recreating it.
